Sunday’s Best Deals: Instant Pot Accessories, Wayfair, Sony Headphones, and More
Third party, MFi certified USB-C to Lightning cables are finally here, and this $10 cable deal from RAVPower (with promo code KINJA809) is one of the most affordable we’ve seen to date. That costs more than a regular third party Lightning cable, but if you plug it into a USB-C PD charger, it’ll charge your iPhone at 18W. With regular Lightning cables, you’re limited to 12W.
For context, that means you can charge a newer iPhone from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes, which can really pay dividends while you’re traveling, and want to get as much juice as possible into your phone while you’re waiting to board a flight.
Amazon is offering one of the best deals on the best noise canceling headphones right now, the Sony WH1000XM3 Noise Canceling Headphones.
While supplies last, you can snag them and mute the entire world around you for $298. And, sure, that’s is still a big investment, but if you spend a lot of time in noisy planes and trains, or if you work in an open office and just need to be able to find a quiet space, you won’t find a better set of headphones.
Back in March, Private Internet Access (our readers’ favorite VPN service) raised its prices for the first time ever. And while our readers can still get an exclusive 3-years for $99 plan, they just lowered their other plans back to their old prices for a limited time.
The reason this is a big deal is that you can renew your membership as many times as you want at whatever price you originally paid. Once the prices go back to normal, you’ll still be locked into the lower rate.
Here are the new (old) promotional prices, along with what you’d normally pay:
- 1 month: $6.95 (down from $9.99)
- 1 year: $39.95 (down from $71.88)
Clearly, the annual plan is the sweet spot here if you don’t want to commit to the three-year plan, but $6.95/month for 10 simultaneous connections, clients for just about every conceivable device, and servers in 32 countries (foreign Netflix, anyone?). We aren’t sure when the prices will go back up, so you probably want to lock in your account ASAP.
You only have two days to save on a whole lot of home goods from Wayfair’s 48-Hour Clearout. Snag up to 70% off everything from outdoor furniture, bedding, area rungs, dining furniture, and much, much more. Just be quick about picking out your selections; your chance to make your home summer-ready will be out the door soon.
Upgrade your Instant Pot experience with this set of accessories that your friends aren’t sick of hearing you talk about yet. Make perfect hard boiled eggs, steamed veggies, and roasted meats with this OXO Silicone Egg Rack, Steamer Basket, and Roasting Rack. They’re all on sale for just $22 at Daily Steals with promo code KJOXO, so buy now before this deal is fully cooked.
When it comes to measuring the temperature of food, ThermoWorks is the be-all, end-all brand you can trust. And while we’re used to seeing individual ThermoWorks products on sale from time to time, today’s 15% off sitewide sale is extremely rare.
Reader-favorite Thermapens? Cheaper ThermoPops? The Smoke barbecue probe? The BlueDot? Even the laser-equipped (and hardly ever discounted) Thermapen IR? They’re all 15% off when you arrive at checkout.
Shield your eyes from the summer sun with a new pair of sunglasses from Oakley. More than a dozen pairs are up for grabs in Amazon’s Gold Box, with prices as low as $54. But don’t wait to shop; the sun will set on these deals by tomorrow.

It works overnight to promote smooth, glowy skin, and right now, it’s just $40 at Daily Steals with promo code KJPRMD. Buy now, and start reaping the skincare rewards soon.
If it’s Sunday, it’s time for a Kindle ebook sale. Today’s offering doesn’t have a theme (unless you count “top reads” as a theme), but it includes books like American Gods, Don Quixote, and Dear Evan Hansen, which I was not aware was a book.
You don’t have to be a music major to get an extensive musical education, thanks to Amazon. Right now, Prime Students can enjoy Amazon Music Unlimited for just $1 per month—because you should be putting your money toward more important things, like tuition and books and stuff. You’ll gain unlimited access to over 50 million songs on-demand, with the ability to listen offline and via Alexa. Finally, all those hours in class have paid off.
As a compulsive fidgeter, I’ve tried both fidget cubes and fidget spinners, and there’s frankly no comparison; cubes are far superior. Why limit yourself to spinning when you can roll, click, press, flick, and rub, all on one device? This one’s just $9, so get ready to fidget the day away.
Deals You May Have Missed
Jump for joy! This Action Air Bounce House is on sale for $161, so you’re kids don’t need to attend a friend’s backyard birthday party in order to get their bounce house fix.
If you’re thinking of going outside anytime soon, this Eddie Bauer sale will serve you well. The outdoor retailer is taking 50% off select items and 30% off the rest of your purchase. So stock up on all the gear and apparel you need for the rest season (or future seasons) before these hot deals cool down.
Dr. Dan’s CortiBalm isn’t just any old lip balm. No, it includes hydrocortisone, which makes all the difference in the world.
Here’s what Chelsea had to say about it on The Inventory:
What sets Dr. Dan’s CortiBalm apart from other lip balms is the fact that it contains 1% hydrocortisone — a pretty standard of dose of an anti-inflammatory topical steroid that’s in a lot of anti-itch creams that you can buy over the counter at the pharmacy — along with a hypoallergenic blend of beeswax, petroleum jelly, mineral oil. And that’s it. No other chemicals or potential irritants. Dr. Dan’s claims to be the only lip balm on the market that’s imbued with the medicinal gift that is hydrocortisone, and let me tell you, it makes a big difference when it comes to healing your lips in the long run, as opposed to just providing a temporary fix.
Today on Amazon, you can pick up three tubes for $14, which isn’t a huge discount from the usual $15-$16, but it’s the best price we’ve seen in a while.
J.Crew Factory is already marked down significantly compared to its regular J.Crew counterpart, but now, the Factory is taking its discounts to a whole new level. Men’s and women’s styles on the site are 50% to 70% off, kids’ styles are 50% off, and clearance items are on sale as well. To get 50% off clearance, you can use the promo code EXTRASALE. The whole factory is currently stacked with summertime staples in that classic J.Crew aesthetic, so shop and save on those in-season styles now.
Not only are USB-C PD battery packs getting cheaper; they’re getting more powerful too. This one from RAVPower has a 45W USB-C port that can charge a MacBook or MacBook Air at full speed, or a MacBook Pro pretty quickly. Not that long ago, battery packs over 30W were basically unheard of.
It’s also right in the Goldilocks zone in terms of size: 20,100mAh is plenty to keep your laptop or Switch charged on a cross-country flight without taking up too much space. Clip the $3 coupon and add promo code KINJA591 at checkout to get it for $44 today.
This isn’t the first or the most popular battery organizer box we’ve posted on this website, but at $11 (with promo code KJBATTERY), it is the cheapest, and it even comes with a built-in battery tester. Just note that it’s only designed for AAs and AAAs, whereas those other boxes can often hold Cs, Ds, and 9Vs. But when’s the last time you used any of those?
The best place for a Qi charging pad is in your car, and now you can get one for the best price we’ve ever seen. This mount from TaoTronics attaches to an air vent and plugs into any car USB charger to provide power to your phone while keeping it near eye level so you can use it safely as a GPS.
Get it for just $12 today with promo code PI7YLDF4. That’s not much more than you’d expect to pay for a plain old vent mount, but it’s totally unprecedented for one with wireless charging.
Wi-Fi range extenders can’t work miracles, but if there’s one spot in your house with spotty coverage, they can be a much cheaper solution than buying a new router. So for $20, why not give this one a try?
You’ll need to clip the $5 coupon to get the deal, but the final price is a match for what we saw on Prime Day, no Prime membership required.
If you’re still wiping drool off your face after Samsung’s recent Galaxy Note10 announcement, you can get up to $150 in bonus cash to spend with Samsung by preordering your phone now.
You can preorder your device here, and then follow the instructions once you receive it to get your credit for the Shop Samsung app, which includes everything from headphones and smartphone accessories to TVs and washing machines.
Preorders of the Galaxy Note10 are eligible for a $100 credit, while Note10+ owners can claim the maximum $150, which can help ease the sting of the latter’s $1,100 starting price.
This isn’t Anker’s biggest, most loudest, or longest lasting Bluetooth speaker, but it costs 13 dollars (half as much as usual), ships for free with Prime, and is small enough to take with you to a picnic or whatever. That’s a fair trade in my book.
Cats are cool and all, but they make a huge mess. Every time they go to the bathroom, they launch out of their litter box and leave a nasty trail of litter all over your house. If you’re trying to prevent this, you can get the IRIS Top Entry Cat Litter Box + Scoop for $19 on Amazon. The top-entry lid design includes a grooved lid to help remove leftover litter from your cat’s paws.
Toilet paper, for reasons that should be obvious, is not a purchase you should skimp on. Could you find 24 large rolls of single ply for less than $19? Sure, of course. But this is Cottonelle Ultra CleanCare, and it’s softer, more absorbent, and can stand up to moisture far better than the cheap stuff.
Clip the coupon on the page to pinch $9 off the price of the 24-pack, bringing it down to easily the best price ever.
Anker’s home brand Eufy has quietly built up quite the catalog of highly rated smart home gadgets, and our readers can save 40% on a bunch of them today with promo code KINJASMART.
The deals start with smart plugs, as all smart homes should. Get one of the company’s mini plugs (with energy monitoring!) for $14, or a pair of them for $24.
The sexier deals though are all about lighting. Whether you should buy a smart light switch or smart light bulbs is a matter of some debate, and really depends on how the lighting is set up in your home, but whichever route you go, these prices are incredibly affordable.
If you’re going to spend a third of your life sleeping, you might as well make it good. A charcoal-infused, hypoallergenic pillow from Urban Bloom is like a sweet pillow dream, and right now, Huckberry is offering up 20% savings, making this a sweet pillow deal, too. At $111, the memory foam-filled Aros model is nothing but cold sides, so your sleep is cool, clean, and comfortable as possible. Get yours now, and rest easy knowing you didn’t sleep on a great deal.
It’s almost barbecue season, and you can be ready with a set of Char-Broil potato screws, now marked down $8 for six, the best price ever. As you might have guessed from the name, you screw these stainless steel corkscrews into potatoes, and throw them on the grill. The screws make them easier to grab with tongs or gloves, and help transfer grill heat to the inside of the potato, which makes them cook faster.
What gift do you get for the gadget lover who already has everything? A bag to carry their gadgets, of course. The Zero Grid Electronics Travel Organizer is bursting with pockets, straps, and zippers to keep all of your tech gear organized and untangled while you’re on the road. Get it for an all-time low $12 today when you clip the $1 coupon and use code VGR85KUN.
Beyond the standard $50 discounts you hear about in the middle of every podcast, Casper mattresses don’t go on sale often, and Casper accessory deals are even rarer. But this 10% sitewide sale (live now) holds the promise of serious savings, if you still haven’t gotten rid of that old coil spring.
They’ve run the same deal for a few other holidays this year, but this is still a solid deal if you’re in the market for a great bed.
To get this deal, you have to buy either a Casper or Wave mattress (sorry, dog mattresses don’t count), so you can’t take advantage if you’re only shopping for accessories. But 10% savings on a standard Casper mattress works out to nearly $100 on a queen, or as much as $240 on the new, advanced Wave mattress. Just use promo code SLEEPCOOL at checkout to see the savings stack up.
Ecobee’s Switch+ is probably the smartest light switch in existence. It can control your lights via an ambient light sensor, a motion sensor, and (of course) a button, but it also has Alexa built in. Note that I didn’t say it works with Alexa, I mean it actually has a microphone and speaker inside, meaning it’s basically a wall-mounted Echo Dot.
If you have an Ecobee thermostat, it’ll also work as a remote temperature sensor, because why wouldn’t it? It almost always sells for $80 these days, but right now, it’s down to an all-time low $45 on Amazon.
Have you ever felt like your dog might not be that bright? Maybe you’ve told them to go get their toy to play but they came back with a sock? Yeah, plenty of dog owners have been there. If you want to give your pet’s brain some much-needed stimulation, the Pet Zone IQ Treat Ball is a great way. It is only $6 and will hopefully add a few points to your dog’s IQ. If not, at least they’ll get to eat some treats and have fun.
As you may know, we run a weekly co-op where we poll our readers to see what their favorite products are. This week, we asked about pillows. Many adults have strong opinions about pillows and the Casper Pillow happens to be one of them. Right now, it is $4 off on Amazon. Obviously, this is not a huge deal, but the pillow rarely ever goes on sale at all. Since it is a reader favorite, we wanted to alert the masses. The Casper pillow has a 100% cotton cover with a breathable percale weave to increases airflow to keep it cool. It has a pillow-in-pillow design that is packed with microfiber fill to provide support and comfort.
Here’s what one fellow reader had to say about the Casper Pillow on The Inventory:
Perfect combination of fluffy, supportive, and stays cooler than any other pillow I have owned. – Wholandia
If you love this pillow or one of the four other finalists, you still have time to vote on this week’s co-op to get it to #1.
You may not be in the market for fleece…yet. But in a few short weeks, the cooled-down fall temperatures will have you yearning for the soft warmth of a nice fleece jacket, and Backcountry has your back. As part of the outdoor retailer’s Semi Annual Sale, you can save an extra 20% off select fleece outerwear for a limited time. Just be sure to get cozy with these discounts soon; this deal will only last through the weekend.
If you haven’t bought yourself a new pair of swim trunks since college, you should treat yourself to something nice while it’s still warm out. Huckberry’s currently running a big sale on fashionable trunks from a variety of brands, including Howler Brothers, Suit, and Outerknown, just to name a few.
The sale definitely leans towards modern, shorter, tighter cuts, but there’s something for everyone here, whether you like simple dark trunks, or want to show off a splash of color poolside. This is a clearance sale, so sizing availability can be a bit spotty, but with so many options, you shouldn’t have much trouble finding something good.
Even if you don’t know what a Breton shirt is by name, you’d definitely know it if you see it. Originating in 1858 as the official uniform of French navy in Brittany, the iconic horizontal stripes have been co-opted into a staple of men’s fashion for, oh, the last century or so. It even has a Wikipedia page.
Today, French company Armor-Lux is the official manufacturer of the Breton, and you can save on several of their wares at Huckberry right now. Unfortunately, the classic black-on-white Breton isn’t discounted, but other colors are, as are the double striped sweaters popularized by Mick Jagger.
Right now, Adidas is running a sale that’s sure to get your blood pumping. In celebration of the start of the school year, the retailer is taking 30% off select styles for men, women, and kids with promo code GEARUP. So score a new pair of kicks or some brand new workout clothes for the upcoming fall season now, since this sale’s only happening for a few days.
Bras are expensive, so when a BOGO bra deal comes around—especially from a beloved brand like Aerie—it’s important to pay attention. Now through Sunday, all bras and bralettes from the size-inclusive, ultra comfortable brand are buy one, get one free. The second bra must be of equal or lesser value, but still, you can’t say this sale is a bust.
As someone with dry skin, First Aid Beauty’s soothing products are some of my personal favorites, and today, you can take 20% off their entire site at the brand’s 10th Birthday Sale with promo code FABDAY. Consider trying out some cult-favorite Ultra Repair Cream (or if you prefer something a bit lighter go the route of the Ultra Repair Moisturizer). I also stan the very gentle Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask for a boost of hydration, and the Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum, because in case you haven’t heard, hyaluronic acid if your friend. But really, with this sale, you can’t go wrong.
Do you rely on hotel shampoo and soap whenever you travel? It is time to grow up. That soap is horrible for your skin. Instead, you need to get this NIVEA Men 5 Piece On-the-Go Grooming Set while it is 50% off. Included in the set is NIVEA Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm, Sensitive Shaving Gel, Sensitive Face Wash, Sensitive Protective Lotion, and Sensitive Body Wash, plus a travel bag. All of these NIVEA products will help keep your skin healthy while you’re away from home. Airplanes can really dry out your skin, so you’ll want to have the lotion and face wash handy.
Everyone needs a good pair of jeans. If you know what I mean, head over to Levi’s, where select styles are 40% off as part of the brand’s Back to School Sale. The sale includes items for men, women, and kids, so truly everyone can dive into some new, discounted denim.
Update: The 85g sunscreen has gone down to $14, while the 50g is still $8.
Does your skin turn a nice tomato red after only five minutes of sun exposure? You better stock up on some sunscreen now before you’re assaulted by UV rays all summer long. Thankfully, a cult-favorite Japanese sunscreen is currently on sale.
You can get a regular bottle of Biore UV Watery Essence for $8, an extra large bottle (1.7x the normal size) for $14, or
three of the regular sized bottles for $25. Those are some of the best prices we’ve seen, and while I realize the single bottle is a slightly better deal per ounce than the 3-pack or the extra large bottle, it does have a tendency to sell out, which is why we’re linking to all three options. The 50 SPF sunscreen is pretty literal to its name and is said to feel like water when applied to your skin.
Here’s what Shep McAllister had to say about it on The Inventory:
As far as sunscreen goes, the only thing I really knew about it was that I didn’t like it, and given the option, I would usually just opt to stay indoors until the UV index fell to around 3 or 4, or until someone invented a sunscreen pill, whichever came first.
That all changed when my wife introduced me to Biore Watery Essence sunscreen. It’s SPF 50 (the bare minimum for my needs, thank you very much), waterproof for 80 minutes, and feels like rubbing water on your skin. Cool to the touch, it rubs in effortlessly, and doesn’t come with the unpleasant smell or zincy stickiness of pretty much every other sunscreen I’ve used. About two minutes after putting it on, I’ve usually completely forgotten about it, which is a compliment of the highest order.
Released last year, the Neo Geo Mini was a good, if imperfect nostalgia trip that especially appealed to fighting game fans. But if the console’s original $109 price tag scared you off, it’s time to give it a second look.
Right now, you can get the console bundled with two controllers and a mini HDMI cable (required if you want to output the console to your TV) for $100. That’s less than the console by itself used to cost, and those extras would have pushed your total investment to about $160. You can technically play the thing without the controllers using the tiny joystick and buttons on the unit itself, but come on, we know you’re going to do that once when you open the thing, and then never again.
Logitech makes some of the best gaming mice around, and right now you can pick up the Powerplay-ready Logitech G903 for a low $70. This wireless mouse offers lag-free performance, tons of customization options in an ambidextrous package.
Sold separately is the $100 Powerplay mousepad which will charge the mouse as it works without having to plug in. It’s cool—but not absolutely necessary. If you want pro-level performance in a wireless mouse, look no further. This is half off its regular price, and $5 off the best price we’ve ever seen.
If you suddenly find yourself in need of extra controllers for your Super Smash Bros. parties (like I do, every other Saturday), PowerA’s Gamecube-style wireless controller is down to $37 for the black version, a match for an all-time low. It’s laid out exactly like the controller of yore, and feels like a nice jolt of nostalgia, but it’s also wireless, which is awesome.
If you can’t start your day without a shot (or three) of espresso, buying a nice machine (i.e. one that you’ll actually want to use) for your home can save you money in the long run compared to going to a coffee shop every day. Hell, it might even allow you to retire some day.
I kid, but there’s something very satisfying about supplying your own caffeine fix in the morning, and the highly rated Breville Bambino Plus is a space-efficient and beautiful appliance that can make you a perfect shot every time, and can also steam your milk. At $400 (down from $500), it’s never been cheaper on Amazon.
It’s not hard to figure out why the LÍLLÉbaby Complete All Seasons is one of our favorite baby carriers for hiking (or for just walking around with a baby, generally). It can be used in six different positions as your kid grows, and its breathable mesh design means you won’t have to drench your kid in your own sweat.
It almost always sells for $140, but today on Amazon, you can adopt it into your childrearing product family for $120.
All foods are better fried, but because the world is a cruel place, fried foods are bad for you. If you are looking to fry without fear, look no further than this DASH Compact Air Fryer, now down to $56 in four colors, which uses hot air instead of oil to make everything extra crispy. It’s also technically an oven, making baking easier than ever, and it’s tiny enough to not be a countertop eyesore. You can even use it to reheat pizza. So order up one for yourself before this deal is burnt to a crisp.
The Switch Pro controller isn’t just one of the best ways to control your Nintendo Switch, it might be one of the best gamepads ever made, period. If you have a Switch and still haven’t picked one up, $62 is about $7 less than usual. It’s not the best deal we’ve seen, but it’s not bad, as far as Nintendo prices are concerned.
If you’re thinking “but I have a pair of Joy-Con and the grip thing; what do I need this for,” know that I felt the same way for a long time. But when I finally caved and bought a Pro controller for a Super Smash get-together a few months ago, there was no turning back. It’s so much more comfortable to hold, and the buttons are so much bigger and nicer to press. I’m angry that I waited so long.
If you didn’t buy enough years for $40 back on Black Friday or Prime Day, you can get the exact same price today on PlayStation Plus from eBay today in celebration of E3. If you own a PlayStation 4, or are planning to buy one soon, the only question is how many of these membership years you should buy, not whether you should buy them.
REI Outlet is always a good place to look for top quality brands at closeout prices, but that’s especially true during the site’s back to school sale.
Now through 8/12, hundreds of products are marked down by up to 70%, including some gear from ExOfficio, Outdoor Research, The North Face, prAna, and a lot more. There are a lot of products to sift through, but you can use the filtering options on the site to sort by gender, brand, size, and more. We suspect the best stuff will be gone long before 8/12, so take a gander at the sales now while you still can.
We all love to hate Crocs, but guess what! Those lightweight, hole-y, rubber-y slides are cool now, thanks to the always groundbreaking runway scene and one Post Malone. And you too can be hip to the trend thanks to this sale: Over 250 clearance styles are an additional 50% off, no promo code required. In case you haven’t noticed, Crocs also makes other shoes that barely even look like Crocs, not to mention, they’d make for some great pool slides this summer. So go ahead and stock up on Crocs, because fashun.
Summer is here, but let’s be real: You’ll probably still need a jacket for cool nights, and you’ll definitely need one when fall arrives. And since Mountain Hardwear is taking 65% off the original price on select items, you could probably use many of the on-sale items right now and for future winters to come. So use promo code MHWAUG65, and load up on outerwear to keep you toasty warm the next time you step outside.
Big, plush bath towels have their place, but that place is not in a suitcase, or at the beach, or even in particularly humid bathrooms where they’ll never get dry. But luckily, these are places where Turkish Towels thrive.
Turkish Towels use a thin Turkish cotton that’s still incredibly strong and absorbent, and they look great to boot. I’ve owned a few of these for years, and especially enjoy pulling them out this time of year when regular towels always tend to feel just a little bit damp and gross. Pick one up starting at $22 (down from $35) during this limited time Huckberry sale.
Looking for chairs for your next camping trip? It is time to get yourself a Camp Chair from Kawartha while they have this great deal. You can get two chairs for the price of one discounted chair during Kawartha’s BOGO Camp Chairs event. Use the promo code KinjaCCBOGO at checkout to get yourself two new chairs. The Camp Chair is lightweight and compact, making it is easy to pack up and carry home. The adonized aluminum frame is durable but won’t rust if you get the chair wet. The fanged feet prevent the chair from sinking into soft grounds like sand or mud. It even comes with pockets, if you need a place to store your phone.
Apple will happily sell you AirPods with a wireless charging case for a hefty markup, but if you’re happy with your existing AirPods, this gadget adds wireless charging to the standard charging case. Unfortunately, this is a case for your case, not a replacement case in and of itself, so it’ll take up a little extra room in your pocket.
Normally priced at $20, it’s down to $16 today on Amazon.
That Amazon gift card offer on Prime Day just wasn’t enticing enough for you, was it? If you’ve never bought an Amazon gift card on Amazon’s website before, you’re in luck. Yes, those of us who’ve picked up Amazon gift cards at the grocery store weren’t being dumb. Right now, when you buy $50 worth of Amazon gift cards, you’ll get a $15 credit to your Amazon account. It does not need to be one $50 gift card, you can get five $10 gift cards, 10 $5 gift cards, two $25 gift cards… you get the point. The gift cards just need to add up to $50 and need to be purchased in the same order.
In order to get your credit, you’ll need to use the promo code 19GIFTCARD or you can hit “apply code to your account” on the terms page for this promotion. The $15 credit will be applied to your account two to three days after the gift card or e-gift is sent. You can choose to set up an e-gift card delivery for a later date, it just needs to be sent by December 22, 2019.
The Carboné Wallet, from The Italian Leather Company, isn’t a dramatic reimagining of the wallet category, but it is a very good bifold.
Built from—you guessed it—Italian leather, the most obvious design feature is the carbon fiber outer shell. This obviously makes the wallet incredibly durable and strong, but mostly, it just looks really cool. The carbon fiber is sewn into the calfskin leather with double stitching, and oil edging ensures that the sides won’t get raggedy for a long time.
Contrary to trend towards smaller, minimal wallets (and I’d argue, contrary to the thesis in the wallet’s product video), the Carboné can hold up to 15 cards across four slots, plus 30 bills in any denomination in the oversized cash slot. That should be enough space for all but the most obsessive credit card hoarders. And as you’d expect in this day and age, all of those cards are RFID-protected to combat card skimmers.
The Carboné already wrapped up its crowdfunding campaign, but can still be preordered at a discounted price of $59 from Indiegogo InDemand, with shipping expected in December.
Flint and Tinder doesn’t just make our readers’ favorite hoodie, though they do make that. They offer just about every kind of menswear under the sun, and it’s all made from premium materials, and 100% sourced and made in the USA.
Huckberry (the exclusive retailer of the brand) is currently running a wide-ranging “Last Few” sale on a bunch of different styles ranging from board shorts to underwear to henleys to hoodies (but not that hoodie, unfortunately). As you’d expect from a final clearance sale, some styles aren’t available in every size, but there’s enough variety here that you should be able to find something good
We might be approaching the last few weeks of summer, but that doesn’t mean you won’t still need shorts and button downs. You don’t have to pay full price on these summer essentials, though. Right now, you can stock up on shorts for between $12 and $27, during the Summer Short Sale, when you use the promo code SMSHORT. You can get long-sleeve and short-sleeve button downs for between $17 and $25 during the Button Down Blowout when you use the promo code BDB.
Looking for a new outfit to wear to all your upcoming Labor Day Weekend events? You can stock up onT-shirts, polos, and chinos at Original Penguin. Right now through August 12, Original Penguin’s sale items are an extra 25% off, and you can get an extra 10% off your order using the promo code EXTRA10.
Anker’s EufyCam home security system was a Kickstarter sensation, raising over $3,000,000. And now, the new version is available to all, and the two-camera starter kit is on sale for $240 today after clipping the $40 coupon and using promo code EUFYCM88 at checkout to save an extra $20.
These 1080p cameras are water resistant, support two-way intercom, include an audible alarm if someone tries to steal them, and most importantly, they run for a full year on a single battery charge, so you can set them up and forget about them.
Like most of these security systems, you can pay a nominal fee ($2.99 per camera) for Anker’s cloud DVR service, but the base station also comes with a 16GB microSD card that can save your recordings locally as well. Either way, you’ll still be able to get motion alerts and check in live from your phone for free.
Compared to the 2380, the new one is slightly faster (36 ppm vs. 32), uses less electricity, and has NFC for direct printing from compatible Android phones. All the basics that have made Brother printers a hit are still there too, including duplex printing, AirPrint and Google Cloud Print support, relatively inexpensive and long lasting toner, and a complete lack of the carriage jams and destroyed paper you’ve come to expect from inkjet printers.
If you aren’t satisfied with your current printer (which is a pretty safe bet if it’s not a Brother), this is a great buy at $100.
If you own a Nintendo Switch or USB-C-powered laptop, a USB-C Power Delivery battery pack is a must. Anker has several models these days to choose from (including a small one that’s currently on sale), but none as unique as the PowerCore+ 19000 PD Hybrid.
First, the basics. It’s 19,000mAh, includes two PowerIQ USB charging ports, and a 27W USB-C port that can charge a 12″ MacBook at nearly full speed, or a MacBook Pro a bit slower. And unlike most of Anker’s competitors’ batteries, it also includes a 30W USB-C PD wall charger in the box that can recharge the battery in 3.5 hours, and double as an extra wall charger for your other gadgets.
That’s all well and good, but the PowerCore+ 19000 PD Hybrid has one more trick up its sleeve, one we haven’t seen on any other battery pack: It doubles as a USB data transfer hub. Just switch it into hub mode, and those USB-A charging ports become data ports that can transfer data between your PC and any connected USB hard drives and flash drives. That makes it the most comically large USB-C dongle in the world, but even so, that’s a handy skill, and means you’ll have one less thing to pack when you travel.
To get the deal, you’ll need to clip the $50 coupon to bring it down to $70, a match for the best price ever.
Rubbermaid’s 12 quart food storage container is quite a bit larger than your typical kitchen container, but it’s great for storing things you want to keep a lot of like rice, or large items like fruits.
But what it’s perhaps most commonly used for is as a sous-vide cooking container. It can withstand temperatures up to 212 degrees, so it’s built for high water temperatures, and its large capacity means you’ll have room for plenty of steaks, veggies, or uh, Thanksgiving turkeys. You can even buy a third party hinged lid with a hole for your sous-vide circulator that will help retain heat.
Today’s price is within $1 of an all-time low, so spend your savings on food to cook (or store) in there.
RAVPower, perhaps more than any other company, has been pushing the envelope on small, powerful USB-C chargers powered by next generation GaN components, rather than silicon.
Their latest and greatest is a 61W wall charger that’s only a fraction of the size of Apple’s 61W 13″ MacBook Pro charger, and cheaper too. We’ve tried it over on The Inventory, and it really does charge things as quickly as Apple’s charger. Get it for $40 today with promo code KINJAPQC, and enjoy that extra space in your bag.
If you like cold brew coffee, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Bizzy, Amazon’s #1 seller of cold brew beans, concentrates, and ready-to-drink coffee. They sent me some to try out recently, and it was incredibly smooth and tasty. In fact, I readily admit that I enjoyed it more than my typical Amazon Fresh DIY cold brew.
Now, they’re giving our readers 15% off anything on their Amazon storefront (fulfilled by Amazon) with promo code BZYGIZMO. I just bought two bottles of Bizzy concentrate for just $16 with the code and a 5% Subscribe & Save discount, which works out to just $.50 per cup if you follow Bizzy’s suggested ratios. That’s about the same cost as my cheapo DIY solution, and it’s tastier while not requiring me to wash any dishes afterwards. Everybody wins!
If you prefer to have a little more control over your coffee, the code will also work on Bizzy beans (both whole and coarse ground) in a variety of roasts.
Most coolers are designed to be carried maybe 10 minutes away from the trunk of your car, but Kawartha’s Cooler Bag is just what you need to carry some beers and snacks deep into the woods on your next hike.
The Cooler Bag is actually a dry bag with a removable, insulated insert that can hold ice and food. Our resident outdoorsman Zach has been using it for awhile, and has nothing but good things to say:
During my first test of this bag, I managed to pack in 18 already cold beers and a few frozen steaks, with ice filling in any remaining space. Packing this much does mean some of your goods won’t fit inside the cooler insert (a 12-pack alone easily will), but if you can still close the outer bag using the roll top, everything still stays pretty cold. So after a 7 hour drive to the trailhead, it was another 1.5 mile hike into camp. Though there’s no convenient way to take that much weight into a secluded site, along with your own gear, this bag makes it bearable. Like a duffel, you can sling it over your shoulder, or carry it by the side handle, which is helpful in distributing the burden of your beer across different muscle groups.
For a limited time, you can use promo code KINJADB50 to get the whole setup for just $36 ($24 + $12 shipping, I know, I know), which would be a decent price for a good dry bag by itself, let alone one that can keep your drinks cold for hours.
